We publish the best-selling church weekly - Church Times - both in print and online. We also publish a range of other periodicals including inspirational resource magazine magnet, parish magazine supplement The Sign, journal of Christian ethics CrucibleConcilium, Joint Liturgical Studies and the General Synod Digest.



We are the number one location for jobs in the church, cathedral, charity and related sectors.


The Church Times also runs the bi-annual Bloxham Festival of Faith and Literature, the only literary Festival devoted to faith and literature. The next Festival will be in February 2018.

We are also proud to launch the inaugural Festival of Preaching, at ChristChurch, Oxford in September 2017.


Book Publishing

We publish around 100 new books a year in areas such as theology, liturgy and worship resources, prayer, spirituality, biography, music, humour and much more. Hard to be very precise but we estimate around 200 million copies in all editions  ....



An essential reference for scholars and students of global hymnody, the Canterbury Dictionary of Hymnolgy contains over 2 million words in over 4900 articles by 300 international writers.

Crockford's Clerical Directory is the definitive guide to Anglican clergy and churches in the Church of England, the Church of Ireland, the Church in Wales and the Scottish Episcopal Church, with biographies of over 27,000 Anglican clergy dating back to 1968. Also available in print.

Visual Liturgy Live is a unique and powerful service planning package that provides everything you need to create inspiring, refreshing and well-planned worship in the Church of England.

As well as our own imprints, Norwich Books and Music also offers third party distribution to bookshops, churches, colleges, schools and individuals worldwide. Book selling

We run one of the UK's leading religion and theology bookshops - Church House Bookshop - the official bookshop of the Church of England. Active throughout the year at dozens of events and conferences, we also run g-books - the bookshop at Greenbelt Festival.
