Norwich Books and Music wins Distributor of the Year 2017 Award
Hymns A&M's distribution arm, Norwich Books and Music, won the prestigious Distributor of the Year 2017 Award at the recent Christian Resources Together annual conference.
Attended by over 300 publishers, booksellers, librarians and others connected with the UK Christian booktrade, the CRT conference each year recognises and celebrates the very best in Christian publishing and bookselling. This is the first time Norwich Books and Music has won the award.
Norwich Books and Music stocks and distributes for 26 leading religious publishers from dedicated office and warehouse space on the outskirts of Norwich. It has highly-praised expertise in customer services and distribution to booksellers, libraries, churches and many others worldwide. It offers a popular no minimum order and free carriage service to all UK booksellers.
2017 has seen an especially successful year for Norwich Books and Music with expansion in staff numbers, investment in technology and new publisher clients including Catholic Truth Society (CTS), SPCK (300 plus titles available wholesale to the booktrade) and Decani Music.
Commenting on the award, Dominic Vaughan, CEO of Hymns A&M said 'we are absolutely thrilled to win this Award for the first time. It confirms what we hear anecdotally - that people like dealing with us - and that we are quick and efficient. With the new publisher clients, booksellers have even more reason to get in touch with us and experience the excellent service first-hand. The Award really is testimony to the knowledge and expertise of all the dedicated staff at Norwich Books and Music and the teams led by Sue Stapleford, on finance; Richard Pickett on customer service and Kevin Allard on warehouse and despatch. We will be celebrating with all the team as soon as possible.'
