November 2021: Hymns Ancient and Modern announces further expansion of digital resources and additions to online events programme
Christian charity and publisher, bookseller and distributor, Hymns A&M announced a new partnership with Church House for the St John’s Timeline videos. This is a series of around 150 films from leading theologians and biblical scholars for study, research, ministry, and discipleship. Started in 2009 by Tim Hull of St John’s Nottingham, the series now has a new management board and a commitment to new films especially those that will broaden diversity and inclusivity. Highlights include Paula Gooder on the Gospel of Mark, Tom Wright on the Atonement debate and Rowan Williams on the new atheists. Introductions to all films are on You Tube. The films will be available free of charge to staff and students on the Church of England’s Common Awards programme through the Moodle Hub. Hymns A&M will provide subscription services to an international institutional and individual audience. Commenting on the move, Michael Addison, HA&M sales and marketing director said: ‘We are delighted to announce this further partnership with Church House and build on our partnership via Church House Publishing, our app programme, Crockford’s Clerical Directory and more.
