Did you know Hymns A&M also run an events programme?

For the past decade we have run the Church Times Festival of Faith and Literature, a literary festival with a theological slant. This was so well received that we thought we could do a few more!

In the past few years, we have programmed, managed and run webinars, online talks and launches and Advent and Lent retreats. 

The Festival of Preaching – returns September 2024: this major bi-annual conference features a sparkling range of speakers with lectures, workshops and worship … the Church Times Green Church Showcase – a hybrid online/in-person event celebrating church environmental projects...  and Theology Slam, a search for new engaging voices thinking theologically about the contemporary world.

The Festival of Preaching aims to inspire, nurture and celebrate all who are called to proclaim the gospel today. 

Featuring outstanding speakers from across the Christian Church, it offers a stimulating and varied programme of worship, lectures and workshops.

The Festival of Pilgrimage

The aim of the Festival is to provide a stimulating 48 hours in which people can take time out to reflect theologically on pilgrimage. It’s a chance to deepen your understanding of pilgrimage in our culture. 

The Church Times Cricket Cup

The Church Times Cricket Cup began in 1951 and has been fiercely contested by dioceses ever since.

The final is played on the first Thursday of September at the Walker Cricket Ground in Southgate, north London.
